Tragic news out of Colorado 70 miles apart.
A gunman opened fire in a training center dormitory for young Christian missionaries early Sunday after being told he couldn’t spend the night, killing two of the center’s staff members and wounding two others. No arrests had been made by afternoon.

There are reports of possibly two gunmen at New Life Church in northern Colorado Springs. According to police scanner traffic, police are at New Life Church in search of possibly two suspects, one who may have fired a gun. Police scanner traffic indicates multiple victims and that many people are hiding throughout the building. At least 1 victim transported himself to Penrose Main Hospital in Central Colorado Springs.

What an awful thing, how can people be so cruel? I am just crushed, those poor kids, their family’s and the twisted, wounded souls that did it. All I can do is pray and ask God to receive those souls that journey toward Him this day.
Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before Whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our brothers and sisters into the courts of Your heavenly dwelling place. Let their hearts and souls now ring out in joy to You, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask throughJesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
