Sorry I’ve been spammed…

Last week I wrote a post about the NCAA and I posted a picture of the NCAA logo. Unfortunately someone changed the picture to a pornographic picture. Sorry for anyone who saw it. Thanks to a friend who just called and told me. I can’t believe how low people will stoop.

Spam Rant….

It is bad enough that I win every lottery in the world via e-mail on an hourly basis. Now I got three–yes count them “3″ phone calls from Turkey on my cell phone today. Every time they called it had a different number. One time it was from Missouri, then I have no idea the area code and finally no ID.

They were trying to tell me that they found my # on the internet which can’t be true because I’ve never published it. Then they told me that they were trying to get a hold of me for some money that I was due to some long lost relative. Uggh! When is this going to end?

What’s next door to door spam? O I forgot that is cornered by the Mormons and the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

I want to welcome Bill the Mormon Realtor from the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee back to this blog. Bill decided to spam my site with posts about 2 sticks and a Baptist Preacher. Sounds like a great joke.

Bill, I’m just not feeling any burning in my bosom. Well– maybe the burrito I ate yesterday.

My tribute to those who send me Spam…

I want to send a shout out to those who spam my blog and send my e-mail address spam too.  So here’s to you Mr. Spamanator.   Your are real men and women of genius. Thanks for spamming me with “ka-ka-sh-ka” whatever that means!

What do they get?

I get lots of junk e-mail at church and with my personal e-mail addresses.   Some are for prescription discount drugs, some are because I’ve “won” the lottery in about every country in the world, some are because I’ve inherited money from relatives I didn’t know I had and then x-rated emails.  I also have anti-spam on my blog that picks up every nasty post that tries to get you and me to click on porn sites.

I don’t get it.  What do the porn sites get?  They are offering free “peeks” if you click on their trash.  Am I missing something?   What kind of profit do they get?   I have come to the conclusion that there is just evil out there trying to destroy believers.  Porn has destroyed lives, shattered marriages, caused people to lose jobs, drives people to violence and makes our faith in Jesus worthless.  Who in the world has that much time to send emails and trash blogs to get people to become addicted to pornography?   I think I know the answer but it still bothers me.  We live in an evil world.  If you need help click on XXX Church, these guys are serious about helping people get out of porn.
